The Institute for Employment Development implements Training Programmes for Personnel of Private Security Service Providers. Attendance of the Seminar is mandatory for those who wish to work or are already working as security personnel (Security) in order to issue or renew their work permit. The programme, which is also offered via e-learning, includes special notes, case studies, case studies, scenario analysis, simulation, etc. The lecturers have many years of experience in the field of security services, applying all international and European standards during the training.

No 4892/1/76-c/17-5-2010, the work permit is granted after attending a specialised training programme and successfully participating in the examinations organised by KE.ME.A. Ο National Organization for the Certification of Qualifications and Vocational Guidance (E.O.P.P.P.E.P.) as exclusively responsible for the certification of professionals in the specialty “Private Security Personnel”, who do not have a recognized professional title, has entrusted the organization and conduct of the certification examinations to the Centre for Security Studies (KE.ME.A) of the Ministry of Public Order and Citizen Protection, in the framework of the cooperation that has been developed, according to the joint decision of the competent Ministers of Citizen Protection, Education, Inter-Visual Learning and Religious Affairs and Labour and Social Security.
