Applications are no longer accepted. New subsidised training programmes for employees and unemployed people are expected to start in autumn 2026.
All insured employees in the private sector who work in small and medium-sized enterprises employing between 1 and 49 workers can participate in the LAEK 1-49 schemes. Vocational training and retraining seminars for workers, subsidised by the DAFA, aimed at helping workers to acquire or renew their skills and become more efficient in their occupation. Opening of applications :
- Theoretical training with 40 hours of face-to-face training.
- Acquiring Certification of knowledge and skills in the subject of training.
- Total Training Allowance 200€ (5€/hour of training)
The seminars are held at the offices of the Institute for Employment Development in Volos, Thessaloniki and Karpenisi.

All insured employees in the private sector working in small and medium-sized enterprises that employ between 1 and 49 workers. Employees must be insured with IKA and the company must have no more than 49 employees.
How many hours is the training?
