The Centre for Continuing Education and Lifelong Learning of the University of Macedonia, organizes a distance training programme entitled “Special Education, Education and Rehabilitation” of 500 hours/10 months duration, which will be conducted remotely using the method of modern and asynchronous tele-education.
The programme aims to provide knowledge and skills, both theoretical and practical, which are necessary for the education and support of students with special educational needs in general and special schools of primary and secondary education (Kindergarten, Primary, Secondary, Secondary, High School, High School, Technical College, SMEA, EEEK).
The Programme is addressed to teachers, psychologists and specialists of various scientific fields who work or are going to work in general schools of Primary and Secondary Education, in special schools and in institutions/rehabilitation centres for people with special educational needs and disabilities.

Through the platform, learners will have access to the educational material of the courses and there is also the possibility for direct communication with the teacher through appropriate collaborative tools (free discussion area – forum, exchange of text messages – chat).
